Aseptic Manual Filling Station

Aseptic Manual Filling Station

Manual filling stations are not new, but a manufacturer of biosolutions needed a filling station to use for relatively small batches and as a backup to their automated filling line.  The requirement was for the fill to be aseptic, fast, dripless and splash-less.  BME Systems designed and manufactured a large-bore nozzle system.  The unit controls a Watson Marlow pump to deliver a fast dispense and a dripless stop.  All wetted components are of silicone or stainless stainless steel and the nozzle/tubing assembly is autoclavable.

The BME Systems filling station triggers the pump to dispense only when the container is in precise registration with the nozzle.  It is made of durable and cleanable stainless and polypropylene.
